| CR slams poor refereeing standard after losing final Secretary of CR and FC Jehan Canagaratne slammed what he called was the poor standard of refereeing in yesterday’s Rugby Sevens final in Kandy and said his team was virtually robbed of victory. “CR and FC robbed of victory due to the incompetent refereeing standard of Mr. (Nizam) Jamaldeen. Taking in to consideration the current days’ context, both CR and Kandy are playing very good rugby and such travesty should be avoided if rugby is to continue in the right spirit and right atmosphere in the country.
