Wow! What a Beauty Ms India for Ms World (Ms. Sindhura Gadde) and Ms India for Ms Universe (Ms Amrita Thapar) were invited to the Club and they graciously accepted our invitation and visited the club on Monday, August 1, 2005. Who better to accept them at the CR than our own Deputy, Ronnie Gunaratne, Vice President, Christopher Jordashe, Trustee, Chris Fernando, Captain Pavithra Fernando, the eagled eyed coach, Grant Dwyer. We have to thank Ajit Algama whose company DIMO's was partly responsible in bringing these two ladies to the country, and the impeccable Ravi Perera for providing us the idea of bringing them to the CR. It is known that our “Gentleman of the funeral parlor” had made digs on other beauties, other than the two Indian beauties, much to the dismay of all us out there. Having watched the proceedings from a distance, it was certainly amusing to see all these gentleman, running around like “mother hens” in order to ensure the total comfort of the Indian ladies. |
