The Scrum and Tackle dance


The Scrum and Tackle was a great success and all praise should go to the Dance Committee headed by Shantha Kurumbalapitiya. We danced the night away and there was John Keells, Brandix, MAS, Ronnie and the "Getaways", Paul and Priya, Anil and Renuka, newcomers Manoj from Classic Teas, "pervy" Kodda, the "Davids", Kapuwatte's and a lot more to make it a resounding success. We took a slightly different approach to the dance and great amount of credit should go to our chairman of the dance and his wife Sonali, Jeremy David , Ravi Balasuriya, and Ravi Perera for their untiring work in getting the sponsors and funds. No dance at the CR would not be a success without Holcim and Access sponsoring the bands, but we also had help from Lafarge Cement, Kushal Perera and Nigel Coomaraswamy. Thank you all!
