Watch out Kandy Here We Come!!

There is a buzz in the air at Longdon Place these days.  It does not matter who you talk to, from the players to the ball boys, from the members to the bar staff, on the ground, off the ground, there is only one topic and that is the up coming CR-Kandy game.  On the grounds among the players there is an amazing sense of excitement and energy. Man to man from the senior veterans to the rookie youngsters who have never faced the lethal Kandy crowds before - there is only one answer ‘We are going to WIN'. All season the team has been practicing and playing so hard for this moment.  It will all boil down to 80 minutes of hard, rib bruising rugby, with no mercy asked or given. At the end there will be only one team standing, and that team will be the boys in red and blue.

So take your flags, caps, and your cheering voices to the Nitawella stadium on Sunday and be prepared for the game of the season.  Last practice is on Friday evening, come down to the club and show your support to our boys as they go for the greatest prize in local rugby.  Good Luck CR!!
